How you'll be contributing to Accurx as a Business Intelligence Lead...

As a Business Intelligence Lead, you’ll be leading the BI function at Accurx, providing crucial support to the Go-To-Market and Commercial teams by addressing their data, insights, and reporting requirements. With Accurx's widespread adoption in Primary Care, where we have led the way in transforming how patients and their healthcare teams communicate, we are now moving into other care settings. We’re used by 98% of GP Practices, 70% NHS Trusts and >300,000 healthcare staff!

We’re looking for our next hire to drive the maturity of company wide internal Power BI reports, as well ensuring teams are set up well to track their success.
Alongside supporting our commercial teams, you'll collaborate closely with Accurx’s Product Community to deliver insights via embedded Power BI product reports to NHS users to help them improve their day to day operations.

You’ll be joining a well-established data team and will be reporting directly to our Head of Data, (Fran 👋).

Your day to day tasks, should you choose to accept this mission 🤝...

• Working closely with the GTM community, you’ll facilitate and monitor data requests to understand their pain points and proactively work to plan solutions to alleviate them. Through this, you’ll ensure a consistent high standard across all reporting artefacts, as well as providing meaningful insights into key performance indicators and business metrics working proactively within the GTM community.
• You’ll collaborate with the various stakeholders across the business to better understand their data needs and objectives, as well as translating business requirements into technical specifications. 
• You’ll work closely with other Data functions within the team, such as Data Science and Analytics to deliver Business Intelligence insights, as well as ensuring the bi-sub team is set up for success from coding through to the final solution. 
• You’ll be a driver in promoting and executing data governance practises
• You’ll determine and implement the best setup and processes for the Power BI ecosystem taking into consideration our short vs long term needs

We'd really like to hear from you, if ...

• You have had proven experience working in Business Intelligence with commercial stakeholders, specifically in spotting opportunities through the analysis of data
• You have end-to-end hands-on experience in building business intelligence solutions for internal stakeholders, including metrics and KPIs and company wide goals and OKRs
• You’re experienced in database languages (SQL/ PL-SQL/ T-SQ)
• You have experience in building data models for analytical purposes (for example in Snowflake) to support report “direct queries”
• You  have experience in designing external facing (customers/users) reports, including running user feedback sessions and responding to user feedback
• You have a depth of experience (including system set up) with at least one reporting tool (Power BI/Tableau/etc)
• You have experience with data visualisation and storytelling
• You have superb communication and leadership skills: ability to decompose complex solutions and insights into a simple narrative for the rest of the company
• You possess a passion for solving business problems with numbers and insights
