We are looking for an experienced full-stack software engineer to join our Sensor Management Team to develop applications for the effective management and monitoring of our estate of AI powered sensors deployed around the world.

About the Role
The Sensor Management team produces tools to administer our advanced sensor network, process huge volumes of traffic data, and manage systems controlling critical traffic infrastructure.
You will develop software underpinning two key strategic company initiatives; the rollout of our next-generation sensor across the world and a portable sensor variant for short-term traffic surveys. You will write code to run both at the edge and in the cloud to deliver a reliable, secure, and scalable IoT system.
You will join other excellent engineers, working with a modern tech stack which includes Golang and Typescript, and building on top of cutting-edge infrastructure such as Kubernetes, Kafka, Timescale DB, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Vault, Git, and NVIDIA’s AI stack. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow your skills in areas such as AI and machine learning, embedded systems engineering, and DevOps.
We offer a flexible hybrid working pattern: you will be expected to attend our office near Old Street, London an average of twice per week, with flexibility to accommodate both your needs and those of the team.

.You have a substantial professional background of developing cloud systems using Go and Typescript. You have worked in innovative environments, with a track record of pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with technology. Back-end engineering will be a larger part of this role, but it will also include a significant element of front-end engineering.
