About Octopus and Our Gross Margin Team...
Octopus Energy Group is the largest energy supplier for UK householders, with over 8.5 million customers worldwide and a multi-billion pound turnover.
Our Gross Margin team supports the UK supply businesses within Octopus, parsing and analysing rich datasets to:
- Provide timely, accurate and insightful Gross Margin financial reporting at Month End and Year End;
- Provide analysis and insight and support other teams to improve margin (e.g. pricing of our innovative Time Of Use tariffs).
The team also sits at the centre of our global Octopus Energy group, supporting our teams from New Zealand to the US with best practices, and helps prepare for key industry changes like Market-Wide Half-Hourly Settlement.
Our process usually takes up to 4 weeks, but we’ll always do our best to flex around what works for you.
