We’re looking for a brilliant QA Lead to join us on our mission to fight for the world's financial health. You’ll be joining a team of adaptable, creative and product-focused engineers who ship working software. We understand our customers, we understand their pain, and we are passionate about helping them.

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing processes and best practice documentation for quality assurance in product engineering, keeping our learning at speed core value front of mind.
  • Working closely with our cross-functional squads to embed more rigorous testing processes into their existing agile workflows.
  • Working  with engineering leadership to identify the metrics and data that should be measured and tracked to enable continuous improvement of the quality of the Cleo app
  • Validating and logging detailed bug reports from user reported defects (for example via app store reviews) including priority and squad ownership
  • Performing regular regression testing on the Cleo react-native application and prioritise and assign bugs found
  • Work with engineers to develop an automated end to end testing solution for the Cleo app to enable testing of our core user journeys in our continuous integration pipeline 

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in QA or software testing roles (ideally with leadership exposure too) 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive experience of working in cross-functional agile squads
  • Experience of testing a react-native mobile application
  • Experience of developing automated end to end test suites in a modern mobile or web application
  • Experience in utilising data and analytics to track the impact of quality on business level metrics and KPIs
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment in particular CircleCI

Nice to Haves

  • Have worked in a QA role at a fintech company
  • Experience with or knowledge of AI-Based Testing Tools such as Testim

As this is a SE3-SE4 position we’re looking for someone who has strong industry experience of using Ruby on Rails for a minimum of 4 years. If it’s not quite that much, maybe you want to look at our standard Backend role.
