We’re at an exciting time in our growth and we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to come into the business and help us unlock our next stage of growth.
The role:
You’ll be a key member of our Smash fees pillar that is responsible for ensuring our users can progress their financial health by avoiding unnecessary fees and charges. You will be looking at how we could improve our current subscription product, focusing on quality improvements as well as continuing to develop the value proposition for our lowest risk users.
Outcome 1: Improve the quality of our current salary advance product
- Understand our existing user pain points (collaborating with the research team and looking at data such as NPS and App store reviews)
- Determine which pain points to brainstorm and prioritise solutions for, looking at the impact on key metrics that relate to user satisfaction
Outcome 2: Test and validate features/positioning that could increase retention for our Plus subscription
- Work collaboratively with your squad to come up with concepts that resonate with the needs of our users
- Test the most promising concepts to drive Plus retention and validate key assumptions for financial success
- Work cross-functionally to understand lead times and dependencies for scaling a successful MVP to a larger number of users
You should apply if you:
- Have experience in product at a start-up or scale-up, and enjoy being hands on with a cross functional team of analysts, designers, and engineers
- Able to say “no” more than you say “yes” to keep the squads focused on the most impactful priorities, but also able to communicate clearly with stakeholders and get alignment
- Work collaboratively with your product squad and involve them in strategy and decision-making
- Bring creativity into how we approach financial products. We're radically changing how people interact with and feel about their finances. This means thinking about problems in a different way, and we encourage PMs from all backgrounds to apply.
- Bring energy and drive to ensure your product is successful. People would describe you as a force of nature who cares about their team
How long will the process take?
We aim to move as fast as possible. Usually 2-3 weeks is enough time for us all to get to know each other.
- Step 1: Quick phone call with a member of our Talent Team to find out more about your experience and why you want to work at Cleo
- Step 2: 45 minutes with the Hiring Manager
- Step 3: Live product task interview, to be presented to a Product Lead and another squad member
- Step 4: 45 minutes each with two cross-functional peers from engineering, user experience, commercial or data
