Job Overview:

Join our dynamic Product Services team as a Solutions Architect, where you will play a pivotal role in developing and deploying advanced technical solutions for our diverse customer base. As a vital contributor to Coursera's growth and long-term success, you will integrate Coursera's offerings seamlessly into our customers' broader technology landscapes. This role demands a collaborative approach, requiring you to work closely with various internal teams, including sales, customer success, marketing, product, engineering, finance, learner services, and legal.

Responsibilities:

  • Help to drive the growth of customer accounts by designing and implementing scalable, high-quality integration architectures that yield tangible business benefits.
  • Act as a trusted platform expert for potential clients, driving sales, success, and expansion of accounts.
  • Demonstrate a profound understanding of customers' technology landscapes and how they align with Coursera's solutions.
  • Gather, prioritize, and communicate customer use cases to our Product and Engineering teams, directly influencing our product strategy and development roadmap.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to orchestrate and execute customer-specific integration projects.
  • Enhance efficiency within internal teams by designing automated workflows and developing sophisticated internal tools.
  • Craft and refine best practices related to Coursera’s integration offerings and continually evolve Coursera’s methodologies for integration onboarding.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in the software industry, with extensive knowledge of enterprise software technologies (CRM, ERP, HRIS, LMS, LXP, LRS).
  • Proficient with integration technologies and protocols (APIs, REST, HTTP, SFTP, SSO etc.) and common web technologies, including JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with cloud service providers, such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure
  • Strong technical project management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Education Technology
  • A passion for education, education reform, and interest in working for a social enterprise
  • Passion for working with and helping clients; empathy for their challenges, ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with client stakeholders.
  • Solution-oriented; passion for creative problem solving, comfortable tackling new and undefined problem spaces with minimal guidance.
  • Strong, proven sense of customer empathy and customer-centrism
  • Proven track record of handling highly technical work streams such as architecting integration solutions or working as a software developer
  • Fluency in multiple languages preferred
