Methods is an established £85m professional services organisation, which over the last 30 years has provided a range of innovative business and digital technology services, primarily to organisations in the UK public sector. We have over 50 active clients many of which have been working with us for more than 10 years. Public sector clients represent 95% of turnover.
We focus on making a demonstrable positive difference to the Public Sector, generally through the experience of our people and the use of appropriate information technology and data. People, technology and data are at the heart of who we are and deploying these to public good is what we believe in. We work to enable the public sector to function better: for both those who work in it and citizens who interact with it, at all levels.
The Change & Innovation Portfolio combines the skills and capabilities for designing and delivering digital transformation, combining tangible innovation, and emerging technologies to deliver sustainable value to our public sector clients. It brings together the change and technology capabilities to design and deliver innovative solutions and services, that enable clients to understand and capture the practical benefits of emerging technology, with the project and programme management expertise to deliver them.
The Technical Consultant will have development background and experience of the public sector, with experience of how technology is used to digitally transform public services. The role will build deep expertise in the use of low code platforms, integration, workflow, and automation solutions and develop a broad knowledge of current and emerging technology solutions in the sector. The role will report to the Head of IT & Innovation, with specific accountability for technical delivery, including data analysis, migrations and system integrations.
