At Too Good To Go, we're on a mission to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. More than 1/3 of all food produced in the world is wasted, and that has a huge impact on the environment: 10% of greenhouse gas emissions globally come from food waste and loss.
Too Good To Go, a certified B Corp, operates the world’s largest marketplace for surplus food, through which we connect businesses that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at a reduced price.
We’re growing fast: Our community of 97 million registered users across 19 countries has already saved more than 300 million meals from going to waste - together avoiding more than 923,000 tonnes of CO2e. In 2023, Apple recognised Too Good To Go as Winner at the prestigious annual App Store Awards, for our app’s exceptional user experience and profound impact on society.
We’re always looking for talented people with diverse backgrounds to join our team. Right now, we’re on the look-out for an enthusiastic B2B GROWTH MARKETING MANAGER to support our Global Marketing Team while some valued team members get very deserved time off with their families, for a 6 months contract depending on availability. This position is based out of Copenhagen, London, or Madrid offices. Please note the position could lead up into a more definitive role as the team is growing.
Your mission
We’re looking for someone to be a key resource for all paid media work, managing ad campaigns targeted at our B2B audiences, across the entire acquisition funnel.
Your ultimate goal is to make the store acquisition engine scale and make Too Good To Go the #1 solution against Food Waste in Europe.
Your role is to lead the team and drive our existing roadmap while some of our senior team members are on parental leave.
Your role
Your day-to-day tasks will consist of:
- Aggregating, filtering & prioritising paid acquisition needs to build a scalable acquisition ecosystem
- Consolidate processes and ways of working to guarantee delivery and efficiency at scale
- Lead the team of Paid specialists, providing them guidance into executing campaigns as well as possible
- Handling an ambitious and efficient monthly acquisition budget and establishing, with 2 other acquisition specialists, your spending strategy across the different channels.
- Implementing ad campaigns from start to finish, across multiple platforms (mainly Facebook, Google Ads, LinkedIn, Digital affiliates but also any other channel you consider relevant).
- Measuring & benchmarking the performance of the campaigns you set up, by working closely with data specialists & analytics tools.
- Guiding other functions (web, comms, content) to ensure you have all the tools at hand to perform well.
- Innovate and Experiment. Using your own ideas and those of your colleagues to continually raise the bar across paid and organic acquisition channels. This covers any element of your sphere of influence as we’re always keen to learn, improve, and build the future of our acquisition engine.
- Identify growth opportunities. Expanding our search themes, identifying new types of campaigns and optimising our existing setup.
- Reporting performance and providing key insights to local and global senior management.
- Driving technical enablement and innovation in paid acquisition, by briefing our website and product teams to unlock the right growth levers.
- Collaborate closely with our global team in Europe and the US and ensure a high-performance lead-generation engine
- Continuously look for driving impact, by questioning the way we play today to define the way we play tomorrow.
Requirements
- Experience in paid acquisition. You have already managed large paid acquisition budgets, implemented successful ad campaigns from start to finish and set up a process to continuously improve them. Experience with a digital ad agency is highly valued.
- Expertise in B2B lead generation. You know the challenges of targeting non-tech-savvy B2B audiences and have managed to generate those types of qualified leads at scale. Experience with a 2-sided marketplace or other B2B Tech company is highly valued. Deep knowledge of Google & Facebook Ads platforms. You know the constraints and intricacies of those platforms and tracking pixels, conversion events, audiences (saved, custom & lookalike) and creatives (dynamic or simple) have no secrets for you.
- Growth loops and tactics knowledge. You know growth goes beyond spending money across platforms and you’re familiar with building virtuous acquisition loops across paid and organic.
- Familiarity with analytics & BI tools. You’re comfortable leveraging Google & Facebook analytics to measure the performance of your acquisition efforts and you’re able to find key insights in a sea of data.
- Experience with a Sales CRM is a plus. You have tried Salesforce or similar (Hubspot, Magento, Pipedrive…) and are familiar with using Sales-related data.
- Perfectly fluent in English. All our documents & communication is done in English in all the countries we operate in.
- Pragmatic mindset. You’re passionate, hands-on & autonomous. You take the initiative to get the job done, no matter how hard the problem seems.
- Rigorous & focused. You’re pragmatic, efficient, and precise which allows you to iterate and find solutions quickly.
- Highly analytical. You’re at ease with numbers and sifting through metrics & reports doesn’t frighten you.
- Team Player. You have outstanding communication skills and have the ability to translate unclear ideas into tangible actions and measurable objectives.
- Eco-conscious. You’re passionate about sustainability and fighting food waste as you know the urgency of change and action for the planet.
- Eager to learn. You’re truly passionate about learning and scaling your technical skills continuously
