Description

Are you a talented wordsmith ready to take on the biggest challenge of your career? If you get a kick out of becoming a subject matter expert in a fascinating and taboo topic, and using your skills to create accessible, engaging, and life-changing products for your audience, this role might be for you.

Our perfect hire will be a logical thinker who’s ready to work as a key part of a product team that is innovating in a space untouched by user-centricity.

That might mean you have experience creating educational courses or behavioral change products. You might be a UX writer who works with designers to create engaging, impactful user flows. Or perhaps you’re a content designer who cut your teeth in tech startups. You might be a user psychology geek and an incredible writer.

In terms of experience, we’re hungry to hear from you if you’re anywhere between a midweight and a lead level.

At Mojo, we’re sexually enlightening mankind.

Sexual problems can be embarrassing — we’ve been there. That’s why we’re changing the narrative around issues in the bedroom.

We believe that good sex starts in your head, so we’re not here to push pills or offer quick fixes to the 50% of Millennials and Gen Z who now suffer with psychological issues in the bedroom. Nope, our app is created by the world’s best sexual wellbeing specialists to help our members lead thriving and healthy sex lives 💪. We are looking for someone that is excited to be part of that.

We’ve had crazy global growth with over 100,000 members in 115 countries and counting. We’re backed by two of Europe’s top VC firms, and you might even have seen us on the front cover of the Sunday Times.

The Role

You’ll work closely with the founders and help shape and evolve a category-defining product. We’re looking for a self-starter who’s confident, autonomous, and able to incept and drive projects through to shipping and learning.

We are a digital product, and our content changes people's lives. We get thank you letters from our members explaining that we have allowed them to repair their relationship, start a family, or have therapeutic breakthroughs. Your role will be key in driving this kind of real-world impact.

As we are an early-stage start-up, there is room for you to have a huge impact on the future of the company and a large amount of autonomy to shape your role and get stuck in. You should be comfortable adapting your role and responsibilities as the company grows. We expect this might consist of:

  • Create navigational micro-copy for user journeys
  • Work closely with our Science Lead to create compelling educational and therapeutic content, from bite-sized learning courses to scripts for audio exercises
  • Create experiments based on insights to drive efficacy, engagement, and business metrics
  • Plan, create, and lead user research to help us learn more about our members
  • Develop a strong understanding of our psychotherapeutic approach
  • Plan and facilitate workshops based around member problems
  • Co-own our Tone & Voice, developing it and championing it across the business
  • Help to shape product briefs and bring a content-first approach to our projects

We are building a team of people who have real ownership over the business. To be successful here, you should be willing to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty on anything that will help the business be more successful.
