Current projects include:

- Recommending expansion areas ;
- Driving the 3-year business strategy with the finance and strategy teams ;
- Understanding the relationship between cost and performance.

Reporting to Lydia, our UK Head of Analytics, you will use your data fluency, analytical skills, and business acumen to help take Stuart to the next level 💫

What will I be doing? 🤔

    • Identify opportunities: do analyses to find the biggest opportunities for Stuart to tackle to improve the service we offer to our customers.
    • Model the business: model our delivery operation and use this to recommend changes.
    • Define metrics: identify the best way to measure the performance of the business.
    • Strategy: partner with stakeholders across the business to answer key questions used to drive the strategy for the UK business.
    • Plan and build a comprehensive dashboard suite which management, operations and commercial teams can use to track business performance and identify issues early.
    • Build data models to ensure you have the data you need to do great analytics quickly. At Stuart we follow a data mesh approach, where each analytics team has the autonomy to own their data products while using shared core datasets, common tools and standards to ensure alignment with other teams. This will give you the opportunity to build your data engineering skills. We use DBT for this which is easy to learn if you know SQL.
    • Work together with our global and international data teams to build solutions that scale beyond the UK.
    • Collaborate with our Product team to identify and develop new features and algorithms to further optimise operations.

What do we need from you? 😎

    • 2+ years of experience in a relevant data role. Data analytics, product analytics or similar.
    • Strong technical skills with SQL.
    • Bonus points if you have experience with DBT, Python, Tableau, or Geospatial analytics.
    • Proactive: connecting with your partners in commercial and ops to identify the areas where analytics can have the most impact.
    • Problem framing skills: you are able to build an analytics plan from a general request or idea.
    • Great communication skills. Able to communicate analytical results clearly to a non-technical audience.
    • Able to build strong relationships with commercial and ops partners, international analytics and product teams.
    • Happy to work in a scale up environment where processes and approaches are still in flux - giving you the opportunity to influence how we build the company!
