Sweep is hiring an Field Marketing Manager to ensure Sweep’s position as an outstanding resource for the climate community and a real driver of change for our planet. 

 

The candidate must be based in or nearby London able to build strong relationships with our sales, marketing and product development teams within a hybrid working environment.

Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?

 

 

You'll be responsible for developing and executing a successful field marketing plan to generate awareness and create demand primarily in the UK & Ireland, as well as potential opportunities in the USA to position Sweep as a leader in the climate technology market. 

As the Field Marketing Manager, you will be reporting to the VP of Marketing. You will help the team identify and execute a variety of marketing vehicles and tactics, such as trade shows, conferences, events (both online and offline), webinars, direct email campaigns, often alongside our outstanding roster of partners.

 

 

To be more specific, this includes:

 

1. Implement field marketing strategies that unlock growth 🚀 

  • Develop an effective field marketing plan that supports pipeline goals, aligned to sales’ quarterly objectives
  • Coordinate the execution of key lead generation and brand awareness events programs including Sweep events, Analyst events, 3rd party events, webinars and more
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sales team members in the office, online and at events
  • Work directly with the Digital Marketing team to ensure smooth running of programs, activities, tools, and SF and Hubspot processes to supercharge the lead generation of events
  • Contribute and collaborate with the Content team to produce various literature, banners, merchandise, and other materials to be used at field marketing events
  • Contribute to social media and email marketing activity surrounding field marketing campaigns

 

2. Assess New Opportunities 🎯

  • Attend Sweep Sponsored events as well as relevant external trade shows and events, collecting feedback and reporting on main learnings
  • Build strong relationships with our key partners in your region as well as define and execute marketing programs together to accelerate Sweep’s growth
  • Negotiate with vendors and other third-party partners on entire scope of sponsorship and visibility delts (booth size & position, speaking opportunities, logo visibilities, etc)
  • Set performance goals, drive excellent and detailed reporting, analyze success metrics and produce concise reports
  • Establish and proactively manage the Field Marketing budget (including Partner Field Marketing initiatives), being vigilant to track spend, and find efficiencies
  • Document and share lead generation intelligence with the sales team, while also gathering feedback after every event

Qualifications 🏆

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Field or Event Marketing role
  • Proven track record of developing and managing Field Marketing events, from trade shows to networking breakfasts, cocktails to webinars.
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment (willing to roll up sleeves and get your hands dirty)
  • Experience with a CRM (preferably Hubspot and Salesforce)
  • Strong skills in analyzing key performance metrics and extracting actionable insights
  • Savvy enterprise B2B marketer with expertise in live events, face-to face programs and virtual events
  • Project management and budget management capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Fluency in English required, French an asset)
  • Excellent qualitative and quantitative reporting habits that drive your strategy-focused mindset
