Launched in 2019, Taptap is tapping into a transformative shift in global finance: from banks to phones. The Role
Taptap Send is seeking a motivated and analytical leader to Treasury team. You will own the funding & treasury operations powering our global business day-to-day. You will be charged with driving efficient processes, simplifying our daily operations, and strategically looking for technology to drive automation. You will be the face of Taptap Send to many of our key partners: both banking & payment.
This role touches a wide cross-section of Taptap Send’s truly global operations. You will showcase project management skills navigating our operations, support, trading and finance teams. From discussing contract terms to troubleshooting operational issues, you’ll be the primary relationship contact for the day-to-day operations of our fast-growing business.
Taptap Send is rapidly growing, and the scope and complexity of this role will too.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations function over our global funding & payment operations. Ensure our banking partners and disbursal partners are effectively and efficiently funded.
- Drive automation within the group through workflow analysis, no-code solutions, and software-led. Reducing our operational complexity is critical to how we scale; you will champion that effort.
- Oversee staffing and team efficiencies to mitigate single-points of failure in our operations. Our work is critical to ensuring our customers can use our service & our partners can rely on our payments.
- Establish strong working partnerships externally with key banking partners & internally with stakeholders to our funding operations.
- Optimise the use of our working capital in as we scale our business across 5 continents.
- Support new bank onboarding & FX trading activities as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in treasury operations, financial services, or similar field.
- Experience & understanding of international payments, banking systems, and workflow platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel & familiarity with SQL required.
- English fluency required. French or Arabic proficiency a plus.
- Right to work in preferred location. Limited sponsorship opportunities.
- Experience or familiarity with all or some of Emerging Markets, FX, and remittances a plus.
- Possess great organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities in a fast-paced startup environment where no two days are the same.
