Responsibilities:
Conduct OSINT collection and analysis to support investigations into online threats, misinformation, disinformation, and influence operations.
Perform comprehensive intelligence and investigative analysis to identify and assess potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Author detailed intelligence reports that provide actionable insights for customers.
Support planning and execution of activities to address emerging customer needs.
Utilize publicly available information (PAI) and various OSINT tools to gather, analyze, and disseminate intelligence.
Develop and present briefings on intelligence findings for clients and potential customers.
Monitor social media platforms, forums, and online communities for relevant information.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data through verification and validation processes.
Maintain and update knowledge of OSINT tools, techniques, and best practices.
Develop and manage a database of intelligence sources and contacts.
Recommend improvements to intelligence collection and analysis methodologies.
Support incident response and investigative efforts with timely intelligence inputs.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Security Studies, or Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience.
Exposure to intelligence analysis or a related field, with a strong preference for military intelligence experience, including roles at the NCO level or below, and a keen understanding of the intelligence cycle.
Proficiency with OSINT tools and techniques.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting clear and concise analysis.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Familiarity with social media platforms and online communities.
Understanding of legal and ethical considerations in intelligence work.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operate well under pressure.
Preferred Experience:
Understanding of misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation (MDM), influence operations, and information disorder.
Experience developing and implementing OSINT collection strategies.
Familiarity with tools and methodologies used in OSINT investigations.
Ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights for national security.
Understanding of key geopolitical issues, including China and Russia’s dissemination, disinformation, and misinformation strategies.
Some experience in programming languages (e.g., Python), SQL, and Generative AI NLP/LLM tech to enhance intelligence gathering and analysis, automate data collection, process large datasets, and apply machine learning techniques to extract insights.
Knowledge of multiple languages, particularly Mandarin and/or Russian, is an advantage.
