orbit is pleased to be partnered with a disruptive next-generation social media platform that is used by over 80 million users worldwide and is driven by advancements in AI technology. You will be joining a multi-skilled team to help them create the most exciting user experiences on the planet, you will play a key role in building the future of social networks and video platforms working with cutting edge technology whilst growing their user base at a fast pace.

The AI allows users to to create, edit and share unrivalled content, as users can add music that syncs with their video, apply smart filters and effects, with the largest music rights based in the world, creating immersive, engaging and interactive music based content has never been this intelligent, or has this depth of stunning audio, or the level of visual experience.

The Role
They are creating a team of tech enthusiasts who can choose the right tools for the job and who prioritise a great product over any particular stack. They are looking for an SRE who has an itch for automation and standardization, through custodian of the production environment, with a mindset to foresee and prevent issues. You will get to design cloud native solutions that scale, globally and help build exciting new features whilst improving the performance of existing features.

You will chase any issues that arises and solve issues through to implementing solutions, making sure the team deeply understands the root cause and set the system in a way that it will no longer happen. Every cog in their systems must be monitored with baselines periodically adjusted. This is a unique opportunity to work on tech at scale and solve unique challenges along the way, whilst being surrounded by a great team which is fluent in collaboration, open-mindedness that caters for constructive (self)feedback.
