More than one third of the food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, with 10% of greenhouse gas emissions coming from food waste!
At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: To inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. We are the world's #1 app for fighting food waste and we work with thousands of restaurants and food retailers to make their surplus food available to local consumers. The magic of Too Good To Go has expanded rapidly across Europe, the US, and Canada, with over 160 million meals saved across our 17 countries to date.
We’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far, but did we mention the issue is huge? We always want to raise the bar and that’s where you come in:
Your mission at Too Good to Go
Reporting to the COO, you will hold regional responsibility for Central Europe, UK & Ireland, and be a part of the COO’s management team. You will be responsible for leading a cross functional team of Country Directors and Business Partners in developing the business strategy and delivering the P&L results for a cluster of seven markets. As part of the Operations leadership team of the organisation you will also drive the overall strategy of Too Good To Go and ensure that our global centres of excellence (Product, Tech, Marketing, P&C, etc.) are delivering the innovation, tools, and processes necessary for us to deliver the overall business objectives and results.
In the role, you will…

- Partner with our Global Commercial Excellence teams (Key Accounts, Independent Accounts, Customer Care, Partner Success, etc.) and our Global Functions (Marketing, P&C, etc.) to help steer the overall commercial and strategic direction of the business.
- Beyond scaling our business, you will be a visionary for our mission. Dreaming of a world with no food waste, you will help drive our strategic positioning to truly influence food waste and the overall global ecosystem tackling the problem.

- Technology is in your DNA. Experience in scale-ups is a plus. So is a strong digital background, with a proven record of creating and executing product launches.
- Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to make trade-off decisions and help your team focus on the most critical business drivers for their respective markets.
- A true passion for sustainability and fighting food waste is a MUST - you are driven by the urgency of change and action for the planet.
- A network in the food industry is a strong plus.
