The AI Innovation Manager will report to the Head of Data Science and lead the AI innovation program that is instituted to incubate AI innovation for identification, development, and implementation of new AI technologies and applications that will enable product innovation. You will be responsible for staying current on the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, identifying potential new applications and use cases for AI within the company, and leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement AI-based solutions. The AI Innovation Manager will also be responsible for managing projects related to AI innovation and ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget, as well as communicating with stakeholders to build and maintain relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Data Science, Product, Engineering, and SMEs to orchestrate the delivery of key AI innovation initiatives.
Drive cross-functional team planning and development activities to ensure program tasks can complete on-time and manage constraints around resources, scope and quality.
Help validate feasibility of AI solutions for user problems captured in the product roadmap through agile innovation project cycles
Drive fail/learn fast mentality and adopt lean startup, lean product playbook principles for innovation cycle velocity
Facilitate the gathering of technical requirements and clarify questions/ambiguities in product innovation requirements/innovation project deliverables.
You will close out interpretation gaps before requirements are translated into Epics (Features) or User Stories. Identify and manage cross-team technology dependencies and align teams to ensure timely delivery of initiatives. 
Manage and mentor a team of AI engineers and scientists
Develop and implement AI strategy for the company

Qualifications:
Strong technical background in AI and machine learning
Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams
Strong communication and leadership skills
Experience with data visualization and data analysis tools
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or related field
Experience in deployment and maintenance of ML models in production
Experience with one or more of the following: NLP, computer vision, deep learning, reinforcement learning, generative models
