    • Ensure that study protocols are in compliance with all data and legal regulations including seeking ethical approval (if appropriate).
    • Collect and interpret data, generating actionable insights that inform both clinical practice and business strategy.
    • Work iteratively, refining research methodologies to ensure robust and impactful findings.
    • Lead the dissemination of research findings internally and externally, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, poster presentations and presenting at conferences to position Numan as a thought leader.
    • From research findings, develop thought leadership articles for both the professional and lay audiences.
    • Support the wider team in disseminating evidence-based, data driven communications (web, social, marketing).
    • Conduct and analyse qualitative research (e.g. interviews, surveys).
    • Develop, establish, and promote research at Numan to support its vision of becoming a leading centre of excellence in healthcare research.

We’re looking for someone who has:

    • Extensive postdoctoral experience in a relevant field such as obesity management, clinical research, epidemiology, men’s health or health data science.
    • Proven experience in conducting and managing clinical research, particularly in areas related to obesity, endocrinology, or chronic health conditions.
    • A strong track record of conducting large-scale literature reviews and synthesising evidence.
    • Demonstrated ability to publish and present research in high-impact journals and conferences.
    • The ability to work independently, manage multiple research projects, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
    • A proven record in writing and publishing high quality research papers for both peer reviewed and non peer reviewed journals.
    • Experience in obtaining ethical approval for studies.

It’s a bonus if you have:
