Numan is on a mission to make men healthier. We provide healthcare as men need it, and treat common health conditions with personalised plans that alleviate symptoms and fix root causes. We offer integrated care - including diagnostics, medication & supplements, 1-1 clinical care, and digital programs - in one digital platform, to help patients take control of their health.

Founded in 2018, we’re backed by top-tier investors and have already impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients in the UK, and have created a category leading brand. We have ambitious plans and are expanding the team with talented people who are as excited about the mission as we are.

Sitting within the Studio team, the Copywriter will be responsible for writing content that inspires men to take action when it comes to their health. The position will require the development of high-quality content across all platforms including blogs, social, app, email, product pages, landing pages, leaflets, and web. 

This role will help meet the needs of our growing business, keeping all copy aligned with our brand voice across multiple channels. 

We need someone who is proactive with a self-starter attitude. This role is on a freelance basis, working two days per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join a scaling business and have a huge impact on Numan’s messaging to encourage men to take control of their health needs.

What you’ll do:

    • Create compelling copy for email, blog, app, and product
    • Ensure copy is optimised for search and in line with target keywords
    • Maintain Numan’s tone of voice across all messaging, ensuring it’s always consistent, engaging, jargon-free and human
    • Work closely with members of the growth team on copy tasks that span disciplines including CRM, PPC, and paid digital
    • Write copy that represents and reflects all things Numan on our brand packaging and leaflets
    • Interview customers for case studies, writing up and adapting the content for blog, landing pages, and marketing collateral
    • Work with product team to write compelling UX copy 
    • Research, plan, and execute copy that meets the needs of the business while working on new product launches, new web features, and new channels
    • Create content that’s compliant with the intricacies of the pharmacy industry, while also remaining accessible and interesting

What experience you bring:

    • A writer who can find the sweet spot between functional, conversational, serious, and playful copy with ease.
    • Focused on attention to detail, with immaculate spelling and grammar skills.
    • Able to prioritise your own workload and highlight any potential issues that arise.
    • Confident expressing your ideas, while also happy to get your teeth into anything and work as part of a team.
    • Passionate about making a difference – we offer treatments for conditions that can be sensitive and often stigmatised. We’re looking to build an empathetic team of people who really care about what we’re doing, and who we’re helping.
    • Experience in healthcare is beneficial but not essential.
