The Role

As a key member of our dynamic data and analytics team, you will rapidly gain in-depth domain knowledge through close collaboration with business stakeholders. In this role, you're expected to actively engage with our community of data engineers, analysts, and BI professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual learning.

You will swiftly become a proficient expert in Numan's data landscape, positioning yourself as a valued advocate and representative for our data team. Your expertise will not only contribute to our team's success but also drive informed decision-making across the business.

In short, this is a high-impact role for a highly communicative individual who is commercially astute and wants to be close to the decision-making part of the action. It’s the opportunity to make a difference and shape the data culture of the company that will serve us well for years to come.

You'll be:

    • Owning the relationship with the Product Teams in developing reports and  analytics 
    • Ensuring common understanding of performance of experiments (both in-flight and completed) and projected impact on downstream metrics such as LTR and LTV; facilitating a clear narrative for PMs, and Senior Leadership Team
    • Predicting LTV of new and existing customers to be leveraged for product and growth interventions
    • Identifying customers with high propensities for cross sell, upsell and churn
    • Text mining 

We’re looking for someone who has:

    • Advanced Python Skills, with broad experience of Python libraries and proficiency in Pandas, Numpy, Tensorflow/PyTorch, Scikit Learn, Numba & SpaCy
    • A deep understanding of the full life cycle of machine learning model development from feature engineering, training and deployment.
    • Experience in productionising ML models in a cloud environment.
    • Used tools to facilitate AB testing (Eg Statsig)
    • Advanced SQL Skills for data extraction, transformation and feature engineering
    • Applied Software Engineering best practices in Data Science & Analytics
