This is an office based position in London, you will be required to attend the office 5 days a week.

Your mission

    • Work as a team to deliver a timely resolution of tickets via Huma’s ticketing system whilst adhering to internal SLAs
    • Provide proactive and/or reactive technical support and guidance to teams across Huma
    • Work as a team to design, implement and document internal networks, systems, policies, processes and work instructions on a continual basis
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures and follow work instructions as part of Huma’s regulatory compliance
    • Access control management and ongoing maintenance through Azure AD + Google Workspace (account provisioning, account revocation, account resets etc.)
    • Managing the Apple device fleet via Huma’s MDM
    • Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of internal systems including but not limited to laptops, desktops, network infrastructure, conferencing hardware etc.
    • Performing general proactive and reactive maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers, networking infrastructure, conferencing hardware etc.
    • Perform regular patching of Huma systems including but not limited to laptops, desktops, network infrastructure, conferencing hardware etc.
    • Producing and presenting evidence as part of Huma’s regulatory audits
    • Completion of onboarding and off-boarding sessions
    • Experimenting with new tools and technologies to produce cutting-edge solutions to business problems
    • Ensuring adequate levels of IT equipment is readily available
    • Installation and assistance with IT related equipment: laptops, desktops, network infrastructure, power supplies, monitors, conferencing hardware, speakers, TVs, stands, cables and other applicable equipment

From day one in this role, we’ll expect you to have

    • A keen interest in IT and providing exceptional support with a view of progressing your career
    • Strong understanding of computer fundamentals
    • Confident communication skills
    • 3+ years experience in providing IT support
    • Knowledge of the Apple ecosystem (iOS, MacOS, Apple Business Manager, Apple e-Commerce etc.)
    • Knowledge of other ecosystems such as Linux and Microsoft
    • Strong knowledge of Azure, Google Workspace and MDM technologies
    • Knowledge of general cloud principles 
    • Basic network troubleshooting techniques for routers, firewalls, switches, access points, laptops, desktops and mobiles
    • Knowledge of ping, traceroute, DNS, routing, VPN etc.
    • Applicants will ideally either be CompTIA A+, MCP or have an equivalent further education qualification
    • An ability to work independently but also collaboratively
    • A strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced environment

It’s great, but not required, if you have

    • Knowledge of Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials PLUS
    • Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 27001
    • Knowledge of EU MDR / FDA Class II
    • Experience with the Atlassian software suite
    • Experience with working to a quality management system
