Role Overview
As a Junior OSINT Analyst, you will support digital threat monitoring and intelligence delivery across a range of UK and international client needs. Under the guidance of experienced analysts, you will contribute to tracking and analysing emerging online risks — including misinformation, disinformation, malinformation (MDM), and foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI).
You will work with AI-enhanced OSINT tools and contribute to detecting emerging threats such as influence operations, disinformation campaigns, and coordinated inauthentic activity across digital platforms. This is a strong opportunity to develop foundational OSINT skills, work on high-impact projects, and grow within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on combating information threats at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct OSINT collection and support analysis of online harms, including MDM and FIMI threats.
Monitor social media, fringe platforms, messaging apps, and forums for AI-amplified narratives, foreign influence operations, and coordinated inauthentic behaviour (CIB).
Assist in identifying key actors, tactics, and networks involved in deceptive or manipulative online activity.
Develop and refine Boolean search queries and keyword lists to support targeted monitoring.
Support intelligence reporting, dashboards, and briefings under the supervision of senior analysts.
Assist in preparing materials and data for stakeholder briefings and onboarding sessions.
Help respond to client requests with timely, verified intelligence inputs.
Maintain internal intelligence trackers and ensure data consistency across active projects.
Use industry-standard OSINT platforms such as Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Meltwater, and Maltego to support intelligence monitoring and investigations.
Contribute to the refinement of search queries and monitoring workflows in collaboration with senior analysts.
Apply best practices in open-source intelligence collection, data triage, and verification techniques.
