About the role
A unique opportunity for an experienced marketer with agency and/or media sales experience, to join us in this newly-created role.  Reporting into the Head of Marketing - UK and North America, and closely aligned with the Media Advertising Sales team, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing marketing/sales strategies and managing end-to-end comms management for EV charging customers, advertising clients and commercial partners.

Key Responsibilities
This person will work with the team to develop and execute a multi-layered Marketing and Communications plan across three audience / stakeholder groups connected to the business, including:

Agency / Advertising clients:

    • Working with the Sales team to generate data-led/creative strategies for advertiser clients utilising JOLT’s digital out-of-home media network
    • Creative asset development - working with external agencies and designers on briefing and developing marketing collaterals including photography / videography shoots
    • Content development in line with brand guidelines and campaign strategy, including drafting PR releases and creating social media posts
    • Working with tech / platform partners to analyse consumer and audience data, contributing to impactful sales pitches and communications
    • Using your exemplary design, copy-writing and presentation deck skills to support the sales team developing partner presentations

EV charging customers:

    • Develop strategies to connect with / acquire EV-charging customers
    • Leverage communication channels, including email, socials, and our own OOH media screens, to execute brand and acquisition marketing strategies
    • Analyse and report on consumer data to continue to evolve marketing and sales strategies

Local Authority/partners:

    • Support internal team on engagement with government and partners to address sustainability objectives and EV roll-out programs

About you

    • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, business or similar
    • 5+ years in a marketing, advertising/media agency, media sales or related role
    • You will have the desire and willingness to roll up your sleeves and solve problems in an agile, fast-paced environment with a hands-on culture to get the job done
    • Ability to work autonomously with excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage up and to key stakeholders
    • Experience with marketing channel execution using a variety of mediums and channels such as out-of-home, digital and direct customer communications 
    • You will enjoy multi-tasking, working with and managing a variety of consultants/contractors including external graphic designers, photographers, videographers, creative agencies and PR agencies
    • Proven ability to review and analyse data trends to inform marketing strategies
    • A passion for green energy, electrification of transport and the power of creativity
