Kraken Tech is at the forefront of the energy transition and developing the technology and products to meet the challenges of decarbonisation. As Product Manager, you will be a key member of the flexibility team that is instrumental in delivering our global ambitions at a rapid pace. 

You’ll be a key member on the Intelligent Octopus product team, responsible for identifying opportunities and outlining solutions. You’ll be the voice of the customer, ensuring we’re shipping products that customers love, are commercially viable, meet business objectives and are within the desired scope. 
 

What you'll do

    • Define, communicate and update the product roadmap. 
    • Work with the Product Lead to map out the customer journey, identify solutions and prioritise solutions.
    • Scope out product proposals to ensure we’re building the best product, in the optimum time frame. 
    • Work closely with designers and developers to ensure solutions align to product spec. 
    • Collaborate with developers to ensure project specs are clearly defined, and technical considerations effectively shape product decisions. 
    • Review customer feedback and customer analytics to conduct experiments and make effective decisions.
    • Evangelise the product across the business and convert inbound business requests into production-ready functionality.
    • Analyse and report on product health, ensuring that risks are identified early, and issues are resolved quickly. 
    • Celebrate product success and raise visibility between markets and across the wider business. 

What you'll need

    • 3+ years experience managing & delivering complex digital products.
    • Experience engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders.
    • A start up / entrepreneurial mind-set being able to adjust to change and keep up with a fast moving business. 
    • Excellent communicator both verbal and written.
    • Super organised with an eagle eye for detail.
    • Be comfortable with working across multiple tasks & managing competing priorities.
    • A deep interest in sustainability, green energy and achieving net zero.
