Permanent / full time position / requires travelling 

THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT TIER

  • Operations management: recruit, train, and manage the team of Operations Managers in your region. This includes the people and performance management;
  • Operations partners management: manage a portfolio of external partners, source, contractualise and onboard;
  • KPI's tracking: define Operations Managers’s KPIs, and follow-up with them, help the team to define the priorities, with a focus on the highest-impact levers, develop plans to achieve regional targets, and track progress towards the goals that have been set for your region;
  • Analytical support: provide analytical support to Operations Managers, including the use of Looker, Excel, and other analytical tools. Derive insights and action plans from detailed ops metrics analysis;
  • Product & process compliance: ensure that new product features and all related operations are rolled out smoothly in local markets and that local ops. teams comply with TIER processes and standards (e.g HR, Legal, Safety);
  • Communication & best-practice sharing: identify and foster best practices across the region and between local markets. Identify, prioritise and escalate product features requirements for continuous improvement;
  • Operations improvement initiatives: cross-functional project management: operations improvement initiatives & innovation fostering through facilitating experiments in local markets;
  • Region development & planning: support the Head of Operations in forecasting, budgeting activities & tender related activities to ensure sustainable growth;
  • Revenues & cost tracking: closely work with controlling department to rein tight cost discipline within your scope of operations, and ensure variance to budget is understood and acted upon.

YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent;
  • 5+ years’ experience in operations management, consulting, manufacturing, engineering, or in a startup/entrepreneurial role;
  • Prior experience in the mobility, transport, or logistics industry (e.g. Uber, Deliveroo) is preferred;
  • Strong people management and performance management skills;
  • Analytical & data-driven; knowledge of data tools & visualisers (e.g. Excel/Google Sheets, Looker, Tableau, Kepler, SQL); 
  • Previous project management experience is a plus;
  • Organised and structured mentality, comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environments;
  • Conflict management competencies;
  • Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written);
  • Availability to travel.
