We see significant opportunities to grow our membership and business outside the US and have made International expansion a top priority for 2023 and beyond. As such, we are building out a team in London to lead this effort to grow outside the US with our initial focus being the UK and Continental Europe.

About The Job

As we build out Life360’s International business, we are looking to add an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to support our global expansion. With proven success in the US, a strong International user base and a compelling value proposition around family safety, we are now building out our international team to support our business globally.

We are looking for a passionate and data-informed Senior Growth Marketing Manager who will take a leading role in defining the strategy and execution of marketing campaigns that help acquire, engage, and retain Life360 members in our international markets. You will own performance marketing for Life360’s paid channels and ultimately drive revenue growth through all marketing activities ensuring maximum brand awareness, user acquisition, retention, referral and member satisfaction.

This role will be pivotal in supporting our membership model expansion in key international markets and will help in the strategy and execution of our user acquisition and monetisation efforts. This will be a high impact role and includes defining the monetisation strategy, managing the paid media budgets and partnering with our paid media agency to lead user acquisition efforts. 

This role is based in London with a hybrid model of remote and in person/office meetings and reports to the Director of Marketing.

What You'll Do

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create and execute marketing strategies and campaigns that drive member growth and revenue through awareness, acquisition, retention, loyalty and referral activities
  • Get extremely close to our members and keep them at the heart of your strategic thinking
  • Manage and highly optimise a multi-channel, multi-million pound media budget to maximise ROI
  • Manage key media agency partners
  • Analyse data, build hypothesis and execute “test and learn” strategies that uncover new areas of growth
  • Analyse campaigns results to quickly adjust strategies and tactics based on trends and feedback
  • Aggregate, summarise, and share performance results that have clear insights and takeaways with actionable recommendations to improve business performance
  • Drive monetisation by developing pricing, promotion and plan strategies across different audiences & geographies
  • Partner with Finance on forecasting and budgeting for International markets
  • Partner with Creative to develop & test impactful assets that align with our core target audiences
  • Partner with stakeholders in Marketing, Product, Testing, Legal and more to support our international marketing roadmap and foster a collaborative learning environment
  • Recruit, develop, motivate and support your team
  • Manage any other projects based on company strategy to achieve growth

What We're Looking For

We are looking for candidates with a diverse background that will compliment the skills and backgrounds of the current team. If you don’t fit all the criteria below please apply anyway as this list is more of a preference rather than a rule. Our priority is for a well rounded team that delivers results:

  • At least 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience in B2C subscription business (ideally app based with a freemium model)
  • A “can-do” attitude with a growth mindset and the hunger and curiosity to dig in and find high leverage efforts to drive the business
  • Experience across all channels of marketing including offline and online but with a focus on digital
  • Experience owning multi-million pound budgets
  • Outstanding analytical skills (excellent Excel skills is a must) and a data-informed mindset
  • A balanced perspective between data informed decision making and gut/big picture thinking that challenges the status quo/conventional thinking
  • Experience driving revenue through product experiences
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills

Experience launching and/or managing international marketing efforts

  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic 
  • Creative and able to think differently about how we market and where we market
  • Strong communicator both written and verbal who excels in fast-paced and collaborative environments
