Purchasing credits through the carbon markets is one of the most established and scalable ways to channel finance from the private sector to effective climate solutions and work toward societal net zero. What will I be doing? 👩💻👨💻
We’re looking for mission-driven Strategic Analytics intern to work with our product and commercial teams to provide high quality quantitative analysis and insight of the carbon markets.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Working across disparate data sources to provide clear and defensible trend analysis across areas like carbon credit price, quality, type and availability
- Collaborating cross-functionally and with senior leadership to identify the highest priority pieces of analysis to deliver
- Delivering one-off analysis for major enterprise prospects to accelerate deals
- Building for scale and working with Marketing, Sales Enablement and Product on wider applications of analysis
We’re looking for someone who: 🧠💚
- Is looking for a 3-6 month internship either immediately or in the summer of 2024, and is open to converting to a full-time role at Sylvera longer term
- Has exceptional quantitative analytical skills
- Has SQL and python skills gained in a practical setting
- Preferably has experience in one or more of financial services, consulting, engineering scale up contexts
- Cares deeply about the climate and ecosystems of the earth
- Is a self-starter who thrives in constantly evolving environments, ideally with early-stage experienc
