Being part of the Connected Kerb team
Our vision is a world in which the way we move supports people and the planet to thrive. That’s why Connected Kerb exists; to power the future of sustainable mobility for everyone. It is our mission to become the most accessible, affordable and reliable player in our markets. To achieve this mission, we need to build a team of people who believe in our vision and purpose, who share our values and exemplify our values-driven behaviours.
We are looking for people who seamlessly adapt and evolve as the business grows and responds to opportunities. If you thrive in an agile environment, can solve problems independently, love working within small teams and are a self-starter focussed on customer outcomes, we cannot wait to meet you. As we control every component of hardware design, manufacturing, site selection, planning, deployment, operation, back-office management, data processing, and software engineering, our office is a truly inspiring mix of experts from a variety of domains.
Overview of this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Chief Digital Officer's growing team, leading on the development and launch of software solutions that improve our own automation and accelerate our technology road map. The team's role is to augment the existing business with innovation, insights and digital products as a self-starting, fast paced, solution development team.
It is vital as part of that process that we arm all business functions with granular analysis and insight of our charge point network. This role will work closely with our Data Science Lead to package detailed network insights and serve them across the business. These insights have multiple stakeholders from the executive team right through to informing future marketing campaigns, proactive maintenance of the charge points and making recommendations as to the next action to be taken by the business division. 2 of our key business objectives are to ensure the network is online and available to support a charging session 100% of the time, we call this “Uptime”. The second is to drive users to our charge points and increase “Utilisation.” These are two important goals to the business which have multiple nuances to them on how they are measured and how success is recorded. This role will work across all business functions with the aim of providing the necessary detail of insight to drive action, action which results in improvements to uptime and utilisation, along with our other company objectives. The role is a technical one, exhausting the use of our current tech stack to build up reports and insights as the company grows. On from serving the UK, the right candidate will also be able to help us scale and serve our international projects with the same level of granular insight.
This is a high-profile role, helping to inform the company on how to best achieve its objectives, further improve on quality and continue our journey to decarbonise the world we live in.
