About your new role

We are currently looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT Administration team on a permanent basis.

You are expected to undertake the following responsibilities as part of your day to day activities:

  • Provide support to the business on a variety of everyday IT challenges.
  • Complete the setup of equipment for new starters such as building laptops and sorting key fobs.
  • Writing bash scripts to assist with automation.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO security practices, IT security policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Liaise with a variety of internal departments on a regular basis as required.

Requirements

To be successful for this role you will ideally meet these requirements

  • Able to get into the Ancoats office every day.
  • Demonstrable experience in Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
  • A strong understanding of hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of ISO security practices, IT security policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong eye for detail and documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
