Job Brief:

Wahed is seeking a dynamic and passionate Marketing Executive who is eager to promote ethical and Sharia-compliant investment solutions. As a Marketing Executive at Wahed, you will be responsible for driving our marketing efforts, raising brand awareness, and attracting a diverse clientele who align with our mission and values.

You’ll be part of our Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Content Marketing. Our team is defined by high levels of creativity, positivity, and accountability. An ideal team member is excited to wrangle big challenges, loves to collaborate with stakeholders across the company, and brings a sense of creativity and curiosity to their work.

Job Description:

    • Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans that highlight's commitment to ethical finance and appeal to a diverse audience of potential investors.
    • Content Creation and Management: Develop, curate, and manage content that educates and engages the audience about Islamic finance, ethical investing, and the benefits of's services.
    • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and affiliate marketing to reach the target audience effectively.
    • Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and representation, fostering trust and credibility with our audience.
    • Campaign Analysis and Optimization: Monitor marketing performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize strategies for better results and ROI.
    • Partnership and Collaborations: Identify and cultivate partnerships with like-minded organizations and influencers within the Islamic finance space to expand the reach and credibility of the brand.
    • Compliance and Sharia Governance: Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure all marketing materials adhere to Islamic finance principles and sharia compliance standards.

Job Specification

    • 3 - 5 years experience in marketing functions with a strong and demonstrable experience in a particular field.
    • An understanding of analytics software such as Google Analytics, AhRefs
    • An understanding/background in financial services and specifically Islamic finance would be advantageous.
    • Experience using Canva, AfterEffects, PremierPro would also be advantageous.
