About us
All of us are going to die. It’s a fundamental, tragic, romantic part of what it is to be human. But the services that should be supporting us haven't changed in decades.

From writing your will to planning a funeral, the way we deal with death is formal, complicated and expensive. Instead of feeling supported, people feel lost.

But it doesn’t need to be this way. We started Farewill to make the experience warmer, brighter and friendlier.

We’re the UK's biggest will writer and one of the leading funeral companies in the country. Our generous customers have pledged over £800 million to charities, through donations left in their wills.

We’re backed by top investors who are as excited by our mission as we are, and we’ve won awards for the work we’ve done. But there’s a lot more to do.

The role
As Performance Marketing Specialist, you’ll play an important role in helping people discover Farewill through search across our three business units: Wills, Probate & Funerals. The ideal candidate is data-driven, with a passion for optimisation, and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business performance by:
-- Owning and elevating our PPC strategy and execution across all our products
-- Working on other growth levers through the customer journey such as pricing and sales funnel conversion
-- Supporting the growth team and wider business by using SQL and analytical skills to provide insights across a variety of growth initiatives
-- Regularly collaborating in cross-functional teams to hit growth OKR goals

This role would suit someone who started their career at a top digital agency and is looking for more autonomy as an in-house performance marketing expert. If you want to make a real and direct impact on a company's success, and work alongside exceptional colleagues, this role is for you.

Responsibilities
-- Develop and execute PPC strategy across Farewill’s products, ensuring we hit ambitious volume and CPA targets.
-- Proactively identify, prioritise and deliver on opportunities for account improvement. Including all aspects of strategy, execution, process and communication across teams.
-- Apply your skills in quantitative analysis and presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and provide actionable insights to the growth team and other stakeholders.
-- Use insights and data to gain an understanding of the customers we acquire and their purchase journey to help us spend our marketing budget more effectively.
-- Extract and manipulate raw data from our database into a useful reporting format to draw meaningful insights and present them to the wider team.
-- Think creatively when coming up with ideas to improve key performance indicators - propose and set up experiments to test hypotheses, ensuring we track necessary data.
-- Develop the automation of manual tasks by writing scripts in Google Ads and using scripts or other reporting tools to automatically generate required reports.
