We are a satellite earth observation company specialising in remote sensing, earth observation, and thermal imagery products & services. Founded in 2016, our company's mission is to provide high-resolution thermal imaging data to address global sustainability challenges. Our cutting-edge technology and advanced analytics provide valuable insights for various industries, including defence & intelligence, climate & environment, industrial monitoring, ESG and NetZero initiatives. Following the recent launch of our ground-breaking first satellite (HOTSAT-1) and the successful close of our highly anticipated A2 funding round, we’re looking for a team member to grow the capability of the DevSecOps squad.

You will be working with a small-but-growing DevSecOps team, who are dedicated to supporting our company mission through deploying, monitoring, and supporting our Software as a Service platform. You will be a foundation stone at an exciting time in the company history and helping to shape the team’s future.

What you'll be getting involved in:

  • Working on an ad-hoc basis on incoming requests from our developers to support teams directly with their development processes.
  • Working on projects directly with our software and engineering teams, trouble-shooting permissions issues, updating IAM policies or user permissions to meet requirements.
  • Monitoring and metric collection and analysis.
  • Investigation and resolution activities for real-time events on infrastructure

  • Strong knowledge of Github, GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes
  • Familiarity with cloud architecture designing system stacks e.g. AWS Cloud infrastructure using the console and CDK Infrastructure as Code methods
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience of running SaaS platforms
  • Previous experience working with multifunctional teams and comfortable with Agile and Kanban methods
  • Knowledge of security and AWS best practice as well as importance of durability, reliability and maintainability as a continued goal
  • Ability and willingness to support other members of staff through training
  • Background within DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering teams, ideally working directly alongside security and development teams
  • Knowledge of satellite operations and space industry is a plus

How we’ll interview you:

  • Call with a member of the People team to discuss the role in more detail. The call will last around 20 minutes
  • Video interview with the hiring manager
  • Take home technical test
  • Technical interview with senior team members
