Role: Head of Marketing

Location: London (or within a 1.5 hour commute)

Equal Education Partners is recruiting on behalf of a London-based education group. Our client is a leading provider of transformative educational experiences to students across the world, including both in-person and online programmes.


Objectives:

  • Lead the Company’s Marketing team and strategy across all functions: e.g. branding, product marketing, communications, growth / lead generation, SEO, content marketing, performance.
  • Managing and optimising the annual marketing budget.
  • Developing brand authority in the global summer and online programme market.
  • Leading development of marketing strategy by working closely with the CEO and Senior Management Team to create effective plans.
  • Work closely with the sales team to improve lead quality and support the sales team with collateral and content.
  • Conduct meetings regularly with Senior Management to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and brainstorm possible solutions.
  • Be the expert on the competition and landscape to identify new marketing opportunities to reach new market segments.
  • Managing brand positioning across all products and channels.
  • Analysing market trends and making strategic decisions based on insights.
  • Ensuring marketing campaigns are effective and meeting targets.
  • Developing new product concepts and managing their launch through market testing.
  • Build an engaging community of ambassadors and alumni.
  • Managing external agencies, when required, to ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.

Requirements

  • Managerial and recruitment experience.
  • Knowledgeable of the full marketing funnel and ways to improve interstage conversions.
  • Data and results-oriented.
  • Familiarity with marketing BI platforms and reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of social media channels and community management.
  • 3+ years in the K12 industry, 5+ years in total.
  • Knowledgeable of B2B and B2C best practices within at least K12.
  • High and low velocity selling (transaction to solutions), £5k to £50k+.
  • UK market.
  • Edtech / Curriculum provider.
  • Worked for a fast-growing scale-up (max 200 employees), not only a startup nor big Enterprise.
  • Managed annual marketing budgets $200k+.
