Partner Marketing ManagerToo Good To Go

London, England, United Kingdom 26-02-2024
B Corp

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

More than 1/3 of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet: 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss.

Through our marketplace app, we connect businesses that have unsold, surplus food, with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at a reduced price. We are a certified B Corporation with a mission to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste together. Alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore business solutions, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast: Our community of 89 million registered users in 17 countries has already saved more than 305 million meals from going to waste - avoiding more than 700,000 tonnes of CO2e! Last year, Too Good To Go was named as one of the Winners in the '2023 Cultural Impact' category at the prestigious annual Apple App Store Awards, for its exceptional user experience and profound cultural impact on society.

We look for talented people with diverse backgrounds to join our team. Right now, we’re recruiting a Partner Marketing Manager to join us in our London HQ.

Your mission:

As a Partner Marketing Manager, you will be an integral part of our mission to reduce food waste by driving shared marketing activity with our most impactful partners that engages and motivates consumers to download and use the Too Good To Go app. You will collaborate closely with the Key Accounts team, and build and strengthen relationships with our partners’ internal marketing teams, getting buy-in for co-branded campaigns and activations.

Your Role:

Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for consumer-facing and internal shared marketing campaigns with our biggest and most prominent Key Account partners, such as Aldi, Greggs and Costa as well as driving acquisition of new partners through B2B initiatives.

  • Deliver impactful shared marketing campaigns that positively impact consumer demand  KPIs, including app downloads, app opens and meals saved (i.e. purchases)
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders within the marketing teams of our Key Account partners
  • Collaborate closely with our head of Key Accounts and their team to identify internal comms initiatives that drive supply and industry activity that drive acquisition
  • Own the strategy and delivery of the UK and IE partner marketing function and manage a high-performing Partner Marketing Specialist to build scalable marketing toolkits so that Key Account Managers can “self-serve” and roll out partnership marketing with their smaller accounts
  • Collaborate with the local B2C and PR team and global partner marketing and creative teams  to align channels and messaging on our own and our partner's channels

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a partnership-led marketing role with a focus on delivering performance and brand campaigns across owned, paid and partner channels — either agency or client-side.
  • A strong track record pitching to and negotiating with internal and external teams where you’ve shown an ability to inspire and influence a range of senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience with B2B campaigns, and a knowledge of the channels to target to acquire new business
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to identify synergies between brands and translate them into joint marketing ideas.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to adapt and innovate in an ever-changing fast-growing environment and work across a large number of partners
  • Managerial experience with an ability to coach and manage high-performing team members
  • A make-it-happen person who doesn't hesitate to roll up your sleeves – but you also think about the long-term impact and requirements.
  • A true passion for sustainability - you understand the urgency of action for the planet.
  • Experience in grocery retail, tech or F&B companies is a strong plus.
