Kraken Technologies licences the Kraken software and its associated operating model to clients. Current clients are both the Octopus Energy Retail businesses around the world as well as external energy clients such as Good Energy, Origin, EDF, E.ON, Eni Plenitude & Queensland Energy - with many more expected to join over the next few years!
We’re looking for a talented PR and Communications Manager to join our team to help tell the story of Kraken to the world.
You’ll play a key role as part of the communications team and will work cross-functionally with Kraken Technologies, Kraken’s clients, and the wider teams. This is a great opportunity to use creative thinking in a fast-paced delivery environment.
If you want to execute our ambitious PR plans and help to get Kraken Technologies known around the world this could be the right role for you. You’ll forge relationships with journalists in the UK and abroad to keep them in the loop with our news and expansion efforts. You’ll attend and support communications at busy international events. Like everything at Octopus, our approach to PR is an expression of our mission and brands - focusing on transparency and honesty.
You’ll be the first person covering Kraken and report into our Global Director of Marketing & Comms, as well as work closely with the group Octopus Energy PR team and Kraken’s CEO and sales heads.
