As our Senior Tech TA Partner, you’ll have ownership over delivering talent into Twinkl’s technology teams, hiring across web & app development, data & analytics, CRO, UX & IT infrastructure. You’ll do this by utilising a variety of different tools and approaches to identify, engage and assess exceptional candidates within a typically competitive industry. You will be a key contributor to our hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience. We’ll provide full guidance and training on how we’ve approached tech recruitment in the past, but you’ll also have the freedom to suggest, trial and implement your own sourcing and end-end recruitment strategies, based on your own research and ideas. Twinkl is a digital publishing company providing resources for teachers worldwide. As such, you'll be part of a team that's committed to supporting teachers and learners around the world.

A typical day could include:
  • Utilising a suite of sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, X-ray search etc.) to identify passive tech talent.
  • Sending personalised outreach messages to build our talent pipeline.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and develop recruitment strategies;
  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates;
  • Develop and maintain online and offline recruitment channels;
  • Collaborate with other members of the HR team to develop and maintain hiring policies and procedures;
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop effective job descriptions, interview questions, and evaluation criteria specific to each role, ensuring alignment with the company's culture and values.
  • Manage interview processes and conduct interview debriefs;
  • Maintain candidate records and progress in our ATS;
  • Maintain and improve internal processes to streamline the hiring process.

The Talent Acquisition Team itself is an incredibly supportive group of “people people” of which you’ll be an integral part. The culture of the team is fun and fast pace, with a focus on maintaining fair and inclusive hiring practices, great candidate experiences and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will learn:
  • How to apply your experience within a rapidly changing, high growth business.
  • Stakeholder management and how to communicate with a variety of people across the business, including SLT.
  • How to use our applicant tracking system Workable.
You’ll work with:
  • A wide variety of technology leaders, including Twinkl’s CTO who will be your main stakeholder.
  • The Talent Acquisition Team: Hope, Claire, Frazer M, Sarah, Charlotte, Fazer S, Rikki and Saska.
  • The People Team. Twinkl’s forward-thinking “HR” department that covers people operations, learning and development, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion and leadership.

We're interested in anyone who meets the following criteria:

  • 3+ years of technical recruiting experience;
  • Has some knowledge of different programming languages and adjacent technologies within the tech space - we don’t expect coders or experts, but some exposure or interest prior to joining would be beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field;
  • Experience recruiting for a globally distributed team;
  • Familiarity with various sourcing channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards;
  • Experience in using applicant tracking systems;
