Job title:           Senior Technology Infrastructure Engineer

Contract:          Permanent

 

The Infrastructure Support team has the responsibility for all systems and services related to Rothesay’s Technology Infrastructure, including a small physical infrastructure footprint, and a growing virtualized environment.  Rothesay Infrastructure Support currently oversees a number of critical services managed by external services providers, including Goldman Sachs, and are currently working on a major project to establish and migrate to an independent public cloud-hosted infrastructure, as part of our ongoing transition from our existing infrastructure provider.

We have an exciting opening for an experienced, self-motivated candidate, who will enjoy and excel at engaging on a daily basis with outstanding individuals from across the Rothesay business. You will need to work both independently and with others, and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Our preference is for someone who has good experience of creation of technical documentation and both project and change management experience.  A flexible working approach is important, as some out of hours working may be required.

Working within the existing infrastructure BAU team, the ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in:

  • PowerShell

As part of the role you will also support to internal Rothesay customers covering a wide range of technologies, including:

  • Desktop Applications
  • Microsoft Technologies
  • Zoom technologies (AV/Phones)
  • 1st Line Networks support
  • Proprietary Rothesay systems
  • Active Directory/Group Policy
  • Market Data
  • AV Room Support (Poly and Zoom)
  • Application packaging
