Do you have excellent knowledge of Twitter, its algorithm and a proven track record for driving engagement and creating top-performing content? Do you have a continuous learning mindset? Can you optimise content and tactics to improve channel performance?

We’re looking for a creative, innovative social media marketer with a deep understanding of Twitter's potential as a powerful marketing tool and someone who won’t be afraid to try new things to achieve results.

You’ll have your finger on the pulse of popular culture and news, you’ll confidently provide insights to the wider team about what’s trending or newsworthy and identify opportunities for reactive content that can be shaped to fit our target audience as well as utilising channel updates to reach more of our potential audience.

You will be responsible for ideating and creating content alongside the Brand Marketing Team, promoting our brand and engaging with our target audience. You’ll be planning, scheduling, tracking performance and creating Twitter specific strategy in line with the overall Brand Marketing strategy.

The role requires an excellent communicator who is able to cascade their knowledge of marketing and best practices throughout the team and wider business. They’ll also be great at chatting to people across the business and join the dots to collaborate across the teams in order to deliver incredible, relevant and reactive content for our customers.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be confident with analysing data in order to identify opportunities or strategically pivot content. You’ll be able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Owning the Twitter channel, it’s strategy and driving the channel’s success and development
  • Working alongside other Marketing Executives to ensure continuity across platforms
  • Planning of the social media calendar
  • Supporting the campaigns team with content production, developing Twitter specific strategies and identifying opportunities to elevate campaign performance.
  • Creating engaging, reactive and relevant content
  • Opportunity spotting
  • Optimising content for Twitter
  • Providing Insight to the wider marketing team
  • Training other areas of the business on Twitter
  • Data reporting
  • Incident Escalation/Management

Requirements

To succeed in the role, you will:

  • Be creative and passionate about social media
  • Have excellent copywriting skills
  • Be a clear and confident communicator
  • Have a good understanding of GA and data studio
  • Be goal oriented and results focused
  • Be organised and manage workload efficiently to hit deadlines
  • Be good fun to be with and have the ability to communicate well with others
  • Have a hard work ethic, is passionate, driven and loves what they do
  • Be honest, trustworthy and reliable
  • Produce quality work and be ready to learn new skills

We're interested in anyone who meets one, or a combination of the following:

  • Recognised Marketing Qualification
  • English GCSE Grade C or equivalent minimum
  • At least 2 years experience in marketing/working with social media
  • Experience working in the education sector
