Description

We're recruiting an experienced Compliance & Quality Assurance Manager to join Equal Education Partners.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of Compliance & Quality Assurance within the department, implementing changes as part of our commitment to the continuous improvement of our processes and take responsibility for all safeguarding related matters within the tutoring team and the wider company by acting as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Teaching & Learning Managing Director and the Designated Safeguarding Lead, while being assisted by our Tutor Recruitment Lead and Project Co-Ordinator.


Job Title: Compliance & Quality Assurance Manager

Salary band: £28,000 - 32,000 per annum, depending on experience

Holidays: 25 days per annum, plus bank holidays

Contract: full-time and permanent (part-time considered)

Location: South Wales, within reach of our Cardiff or Llanelli offices (remote working would be considered for an exceptional candidate)

Overview of responsibilities

Supporting the Tutor Recruitment Lead

  • Working alongside the Tutor Recruitment Lead to drive the candidate recruitment process for teachers and tutors interested in working with Equal Education Partners
  • Support the Tutor Recruitment Lead in searching for and attracting strong candidates for tutoring roles in a timely manner
  • Onboarding teachers at the start of working for Equal and supporting the Tutor Recruitment and Induction
  • Fully utilising the systems to ensure candidate progression and compliance
  • Lead with onboarding any new tutors and necessary compliance checks
  • Engaging with existing and new candidates to maximise retention.

Supporting the Project Co-Ordinator

  • Supporting with the creation of tutoring plans for schools to meet their requirements and contacting tutors for their availability
  • Supporting with the monitioring of the day-to-day running of the tuition
  • Planning/ supporting/ creating training courses, booklets, and other key documents for tutors
  • Helping to provide end of term progress reports for each tuition partner

Wider responsibilities

  • Supporting with developing our induction, support and training offerings in coordination with the Professional Learning Manager
  • Identifying candidates’ training needs and areas for development.
  • Having a real tangible impact on the business by expanding our candidate base and therefore the number of clients we can effectively service
  • Working closely with Equal Education Partners’ Managing Director for Teaching and Learning, Project Coordinator, Marketing Manager and Tutor Recruitment Lead with the design, development, implementation and improvement of a robust and attractive induction and support process for tutors joining Equal
  • Arranging and delivering webinars for interested prospective tutors to find out more about working with Equal Education Partners
  • Representing Equal at open days and events to support tutor recruitment

Requirements


Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Compliance & Quality Assurance Manager
  • Experience of coordinating audits/quality standards approval visits
  • Enthusiastic, hands-on, proactive and able to work well independently and in teams
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal


Desirable

  • Experience in dealing with Safeguarding Matters within an educational instution/organisation (full training will be provided)
