Who Are We?

This is a unique role to look after the communications requirements of the Global BIM Network and Global Digital Transformation Programme (GDT).

The Global Digital Transformation (GDT) Programme grows the UK's trade opportunity for construction professional services by increasing adoption of the UK's world-leading digital construction methodologies into the procurement and delivery of the world's public infrastructure. This is achieved by growing public sector demand for digital construction, aligned with UK principles and standards, while building public sector capacity for introducing, procuring and using digital construction. GDT enables and mobilises UK exporters and export agencies and collaborates with industry bodies to take full advantage of the market-making activities of the programme.

The Global BIM Network is a key development and strategy of GDT to advance global adoption of digital construction approaches consistent with UK principles and export capacity. The Global BIM Network connects public sector representatives and multi-lateral organisations to implement digital innovation and share the socio-economic benefits for people and places.
