We have a rare opportunity for a commercially minded, strategic, creative, influential Product Marketing Manager to join our team to help us position our portfolio of software products in order to maximise a very large growth opportunity and avoid problems with product-market fit.
The mission is to deliver the right solution to the right audience using the right message. You are the voice of Product in Marketing and the voice of Marketing in Product. You own market requirements, competitors and analysts. You have a major stake in customers and own the Voice of the Customer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Own product marketing strategy of one or more products in the portfolio.
- Work with customers and internal stakeholders to create and maintain the high-level critical requirements for your product.
- Contribute to the definition and evangelism of product vision, capability, and value, internally to the business and outwards to the market.
- Develop understanding of the domains where the product applies.
- Engage with customers and their representatives within the business.
- Own the Voice of Customer and the ICPs for your product.
- Own the GTM strategy for your product.
- Line management of product marketing executives within your team.
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience of working cross-functionally to deliver tangible outcomes
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work efficiently and effectively to tight deadlines and manage own time/workload accordingly
- Ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, and marketing
- Ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers in a constructive relationship
- Team leader or manager skills and experience.
- Experience of working in a regulated industry or environment
- Software industry experience
