You’ll be joining Twinkl to help solve a universal pain point for teachers around the globe - Report Writing!

Twinkl have done some great work in this area already and historically our comprehensive bank of report writing statements, written by teachers for teachers, was really popular. Our innovation team took this concept and built a working Report Writing Tool, offering further functionality and flexibility to teachers and this now includes AI. We are now ready to make further improvements and innovations, taking Twinkl’s Report Writer to the next stage for teachers all over the world.

As Report Writer Product Owner you’ll take over the development of this tool, working with teams across the business to identify and implement improvements. You’ll oversee the campaign to roll its use out internationally and as such, should be curious to investigate other cultures, doing research into international curriculums to understand how we can adapt the tool to meet the needs of educators on a global scale.

You’ll have the support of our Product Team Lead (your line manager), Head of Product and Digital Product Manager, but ultimate ownership over the project will be yours. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop strong project management/product development skills whilst building something unique and valuable to educators around the world.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

  • Researching international markets and their approach to report writing, speaking directly to teachers in those communities to collect first-hand information and insights.
  • Building strong internal relationships with Twinkl’s Country Managers to gather the requirements of different curriculums.
  • Building a marketing schedule. Understanding at what time in the year different countries write reports and planning campaigns so that teachers in those areas are aware of our tool.
  • Working with the Innovation Team to prototype improvements to the functionality and design of the tool.
  • Looking for any additional opportunities and ways that Twinkl can aid report writing for teachers.

If you require a reasonable adjustment to the application/selection process to enable you to demonstrate your ability to perform the job requirements please include this at the foot of your covering letter. This will help us to understand any modifications we may need to make to support you throughout our selection process.
